9th Grade Health Culinary Culture Project:
Students with a partner research the culture of a country by investigating their food choices, activity level, physical fitness choices and if there is an obesity issue in that culture.  After their research, they create a powerpoint to share their findings with the class.  Part of this presentation includes a culinary sample of food from that country that they prepare for the rest of the class.  The final task for this activity is a reflection paper to address the questions:
     * What would it be like to grow up in this country?
     * How would my diet and daily activities differ from my present lifestyle?
     * What influences my dietary and physical activity behavior?
     * What are my strengths and weaknesses of my diet?
     * What are the strengths and weaknesses of my level of physical activity?
     * What have I learned from this experience?
     * How can I use this information in my life?
